    One day Heather and I walked the long way to Venus Beach. We traversed black sands beach and fishermans beach on our way.

    These two boys were having a soak in the tidal pools.

    The geologist that I met on the bus on the way back to San Jose said that the rocks on the Pacific Coast of the Guanacaste peninsula are the oldest in the country and have come up from the bottom of the ocean.
